Victoria Stanway is a professional artist based in Oxfordshire. She specialises in contemporary, modern, surreal landscape and townscape paintings from fading memories of growing up in a post industrial mill town in East Lancashire. There are 2 collections of landscape paintings to choose from.

The earlier work entitled Landscapes of the Mind, are a collection of modern cubist style paintings, reflecting fragmented memories and feelings associated with them.  Most of the early landscape and townscape paintings have been acquired by private collectors from the UK, Europe, America, and the Far East.   New work in this series of cubist landscape paintings is in development, and will be available to buy online shortly.

The second series of landscapes paintings can be found in Visual Echoes. This collection has a different stylistic approach. More expressionistic and surreal in method, resurrecting forgotten landscapes that have long disappeared, giving them permanence before they are lost forever. This collection of modern surreal landscape paintings are currently in development, with new work being uploaded as it is completed, so bookmark this page, or join the mailing list.
