Planning For A Trirp

Traveling safely in foreign countries, Ever been to a trip and then remembered that you forgot to feed your dog, or have that disturbing feeling of leaving a door or a window open?  With the world so full of places to visit, it’s quite a task choosing travel destinations, leaving little time to arrange for little things that are of importance to you during and after the trip. No one wants to come home to a pest-infested home, because of stale food in the refrigerator or a burglarized one because you forgot the tiny precautions like locking your back door or window. Before traveling to your destination please check and recheck on the small details before they cost you your happiness while on the trip. Here are some tips on how to travel safely. Preparing a budget Know how much you want to spend and prepare a budget, it is not very good to run short of cash in a foreign country, probably in a wilderness without network connection to call home or your bank to ask for a credit, because the banking system in your host country does not support your credit or debit card. It is advisable to carry a few dollars with you, just in case. The most advisable thing to do is carrying about two different cards from two different banks, after ensuring they are located in the host country. Most importantly you should inform your bank of your need to leave the country, to avoid cases of denied transactions due to fraud.  You should also learn basic conversion rates of money. The dollar is mostly acceptable in almost all the countries and its value does not fluctuate easily. Most of the people will probably take advantage of you if they get a hint you know nothing of what is happening at the moment. Thus you may end up losing a lot of cash in the process. Learning the language It is important to learn basic verbal cues for a certain region you are visiting, because of the nature of your visit; you will most probably have to socialize with many people. You need to buy basic services like clean drinking water, airtime,   ask for directions or interact with local communities, especially the rigid ones that choose to maintain their cultures. Well, it is quite a sight to see someone trying to explain a simple task using nonverbal cues to the vendor. How do you specify the amount you want, how do you bargain for some services? Some of which are overpriced because of the language difference. Most probably if the language is too hard to understand you can hire an interpreter but learning a few local words will be of advantage to you. Packing Packing for a trip is also one of the things that you should take seriously, carry your entire essentials like labeled allergic prescriptions, toiletries, relevant clothes according to the type of climate of the place you are visiting, this includes protective clothing like a heavy jacket or an umbrella. But this does not guarantee you to carry loads which are overweight, you should take precautions like carrying clothes that can be used in a different setting, for example, a pair of sports shoes used for a walk can be worn to dinner or a camp. Most probably if you don’t intend to hire a car you should reduce your luggage to something you can handle without having to hire porters, or an entire cab to carry all your goods, most of which may never leave your home country because of travel regulations. Carry with you only the essentials and write a list of the must buy, once you reach your destination.  For more tips on how to travel safely to foreign countries visit:

In the final years of Nazi Germany when Adolf Hitler was conquering Europe, millions of Jews were exterminated. In Poland, in the remote outskirts of a village called Sobibor, was one of the extermination centers, hidden in the woods from potential eyewitnesses. The first batch arrived in March or April, transporting foreign jews from Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Germany. Not less than 170,000 Jews were gassed in the Sobibór death camp. Then on October 14, 1943, the Jews awaiting death at Sobibor revolted, resulting in a mass escape of prisoners. Running through landmines, many died in the act of, but 46 managed to survive. Death Camp Museum (Sobibor) was built in honor of the Jews who lost their lives at the hands of cruel Nazi Germany. There are much to see at the museum. In 2014, the archeologists managed to dig out what is believed to be the exact spot where the gas chambers were erected. Conclusion Although Poland is in the European Union, it doesn’t use euros. They stick to their national currency, which is Zloty. Fortunately, there are several exchange agencies to convert your foreign money into Zloty. The polish are very proud people. For instance, they are in Europe, not Eastern Europe since there is no official line indicating where eastern or central Europe begins or ends.
